*Prior to engaging in clinical practice for patient care, nurses will be required to complete a competency test to ensure readiness and suitability for the role. Selected candidates will work under the close supervision of a senior Registered Nurse (RN) to gain hands-on experience and guidance. It is important to note that these working hours will not count toward the adaptation training required to become a Registered Nurse (RN) in Denmark. However, candidates who perform successfully during this supervised practice period will receive a strong recommendation from Danova Hospice, enhancing their prospects for future employment opportunities within the institution upon program completion.

Community and Outreach Programs

Danova Cancer & Hospice Institute actively participates in community outreach to raise awareness and promote preventive care.

  • Cancer Screening Campaigns: Public campaigns to increase awareness and encourage early detection.
  • Patient Education Programs: Workshops for patients and families on managing cancer, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Volunteer Programs: Opportunities for community members to provide companionship and support to patients in hospice care.
